The culture of science fiction has a major impact of the culture of our world.  From the movies, TV, and books.  Also that there are expos and conferences about sci-fi.  People can live and breathe sci-fi  it helps our world.  A major part of sci-fi is that the fact when its written in the future it may become a a fact and not sci-fi  anymore,  like cloning and hovercrafts, all thing that have happened but when written all science fiction.
